A journey of
being and becoming.
I spent forty years leading schools. It wasn't just about administration. It was about creating the space where humans, both young and old, could discover who they are.

The Foundations.
My background is in Physics, but my heart has always lived in Psychology. I hold a Ph.D. in the subject. This blend of science and the human spirit has shaped how I look at institutions. They aren't machines. They are living, breathing ecosystems.
I've been deeply influenced by the philosophy of J. Krishnamurti. I spent time at Rishi Valley and Rajghat, learning that true education is the transformation of the mind. It is about freedom, not just compliance.
There is also the music. In 1992, I received the Sahitya Kala Parishad Award for choir music composition. I believe that harmony in a school is a lot like harmony in a choir. Every voice must be heard, but they must all resonate together.
Four Landmark Schools.
The Beginning
Modern School, Barakhamba Road
I started as a Physics teacher and eventually led the Psychology and Counselling department. It was here that I first understood the power of mentorship over mere instruction.
Building Excellence
Army Public School, Noida
I brought this school up from its very inception. It became a flagship for over a hundred Army schools nationally. I received the Army Commander's Commendation twice during this tenure.
Scaling Vision
The Heritage School, Gurgaon
I led the school through a massive transition, growing the student body from 1,000 to 2,500. We built the Enrichment Centre for differently-abled children, making inclusion a reality, not just a policy.
Defining the Peak (2013-2025)
Step By Step School, Noida
My most recent journey. For twelve years, we worked to make this one of the finest institutions in the country. It was a time of immense growth and national recognition for what a human-centric school can be.
A new calling.
My work continues in two very different directions. I'm helping establish a school for tribal children, coupled with a food forest. It's a return to the basics of human survival and community. We're learning from the land as much as from books.
At the same time, I'm exploring how AI can be used to make education more personal. It isn't about replacing the teacher. It's about giving the teacher the tools to see every child more clearly.
Whether it is a board room, a classroom, or a tribal forest, the goal remains the same. We must build the conditions where people can finally ask: Who am I? And why am I here?
